Research interests:
My professional interests are with the use of GIS and remote sensing to analyze landscape
change through time, specifically, the effects of human induced changes to the environment.
I also have a strong interest in the intricacies and influences of cartographic design and
the technological advances taking place in the world of cartography.
Personal interests:
More than anything, I enjoy spending time outdoors with friends and family-
hiking, camping, paddling and ultimate frisbee are tops on my list. When not outside running around, cooking, knitting, and hanging out with friends fills my time.

Land cover and land use change from 1940-2000 in and around National Park Service units
