Research interests:
I am interested in understanding wildlife's response to landscape pattern at fine and broad spatial scales. I am particularly interested in how to quantify spatial heterogeneity in a meaningful way to address a specific ecological question.

Personal interests:
I really enjoy spending time outdoor with my partner, James, and our dog Shupa. I also enjoy playing Irish flute and watching good repertoire movies. Traveling to Québec to visit my family and friends, and to Baltimore to visit my "outlaws" is always fabulous!

Using image texture analysis to predict birds' response to fine-scale habitat heterogeneity in semi-arid ecosystems
